According to reliable sources, the committee took the decision after taking into account the interim analysis of phase 3 clinical trials submitted by the firm. Kejriwal also criticised the neighbouring states for the ‘dismal conditions’ of schools and said that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s administration is worried about the truth becoming public. After saying that he is an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman during Assembly election campaigning last year, Kejriwal seems to be trying to woo voters by talking about his Hindu roots. In the last few months, the Kejriwal government has lent support to the farmer agitation and has been labelled ‘anti-India’ by a section of the Bharatiya Janata Party . In an unrelated statement, the chief minister appealed the legislators inside the House to get vaccinated like any other ‘aam aadmi’ and then spread awareness at their own levels about the benefits of taking thre shot. BJP chooses another TSR to replace TSR as Uttarakhand chief minister MP Tirath Singh Rawat faces challenge of cleaning up the mess created by predecessors V I N E E T U PA D H YAY @ Dehradun WITH the BJP springing a surprise by asking Lok Sabha member Tirath Singh Rawat to take over the new Uttarakhand chief minister, he has the onerous task of cleaning up the mess created by his predecessor Trivendra Singh Rawat, despite having little legroom and the Assembly elections less that a year away . On the flip side, Tirath knows Uttarakhand’s politics insideout as he did a stint as the state unit chief of the party and is credited with its 2014 Lok Sabha performance. He also has a clean image and is considered close to the top leadership of the party, including Union home minister Amit Shah. However, since the last budget of the state government has already been passed, there is not much in terms of policy he can do to redeem the situation before Assemblypolls in 2022, political experts said. New CM has to deal with incumbency factor Electoral activity will start in November-December, which leaves Tirath little time to shake off anti-incumbency.
